Lyle James Duprez

Lyle Duprez, 63, a longtime resident of Canon City passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2019.

He was born in Colorado on June 16, 1956 to Alfred and Allie (Fizer) Duprez.

Lyle was a Correctional Officer for the Department of Corrections for 15 years.

Lyle will be greatly missed but never forgotten. He had a one of a kind personality. 

He enjoyed his retired life during the last 18 months and was able to take the time to do the things that he loved which was spending time with his family, taking bike rides and spending days plinking rounds and golfing with his brother Lee.  One of his favorite holidays was the 4th of July in which he would spare no expense.

Lyle is survived by his son, Nikolas (Summer) Duprez; granddaughter, Bridgett Duprez; brothers, Ray & Lee Duprez; and sister, Marie Snell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allie and Alfred Duprez.

Lyle is now in a better place and will be missed by all who knew him.
