Albert H. Madison went home to Jesus on August 17, 2021, at age 87.
Albert was born to Edna and Neely Madison on November 2, 1933, in Honey Grove, Texas.
Albert met his wife, Ruth, in 1950 at the high school they attended. They married a few years later on March 13, 1954, in Houston, Texas, going on to have 5 children. In turn, 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Albert was a dedicated and loving father, enjoying nothing more than spending time with his family.
Throughout his life, he had unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those around him. This being evident in the abundant love held for his church family as well.
He served in the U.S. Army, an Intelligence Specialist (SP 3), 6th Armored Cavalry Regiment, D-Company. Albert then made a career for himself in law enforcement, retiring as the Chief of Police.
Albert is survived by his wife; Ruth, daughter; Ruthie Madison of Colorado, and sons; Keith (Michelle) Madison of Texas, Kevin (Deborah) Madison of Missouri, Jeffery Madison of Colorado, and Douglas (Marla) Madison of Texas. Albert joins his parents, amongst other departed family members, in Heaven.
He will be laid to rest at Pikes Peak National Cemetery (Colorado Springs, Colorado) on August 24, 2021, at 2:00 PM.
He was a great father and will be dearly missed. We love and miss you Dad.
