Anthony Dominic DiMarino, 78, of Canon City, entered life eternal on June 10, 2023. Anthony "Tony" Dimarino, was born in Canon City on August 4, 1944.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Domenico and Maria (Delpizzo) Dimarino; brother Angelo; and daughter Karen. Tony was a member of the Knight's of Columbus, a grand knight, past grand knight, and a district deputy. He was a member of the Columbian Lodge. Tony was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church for over 50 years. He helped raise money for Starpoint through his tootsie roll drive. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, was a bingo manager at his church, was a fisherman and a wine maker. He even enjoyed working in his woodshop.
Anthony is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth DiMarino; children Anthony (Dana) DiMarino, Nicholas (Susan) DiMarino, Michael (Leslie) McFarlane and James (Jon Hodge) DiMarino; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; great friends Nick and Joan DeSalvo; extended family members and friends; and his dog Itzy. A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 15th at 5:30pm. His Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 16th at 9:00am both at St. Michael's Catholic Church.
