Arthur Shepherd

Arthur Shepherd, 75, passed away November 26, 2023 in Canon City, CO. He was born on April 13, 1948. Arthur dedicated his life to his wife, Marilyn. He always had some kind of project he was working on, whether it was cars, carving wood, or building something new. Arthur built a lovely home in the mountains with a beautiful deck to enjoy his home cooked meals, watch the hummingbirds and other animals, but not woodpeckers or rodents. He dearly loved his dog, Blaze, who he would take for runs on the mountain with his Quad. He recently adopted a black kitten named Midnight. His pets were like his children and meant so much to him. He also loved his classic music and reading books. Arthur was a kind and hardworking man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Arthur is survived by his sisters, Mary Autrey, Becky Sorenson; and brother, Gene Shepherd, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn.
