Barbara was born February 28, 1940, in Canon City, Colorado, the daughter of Jeanette Refner and John Allen. Bobbie, as she was known to her family-- a beloved Mother, Sister, Aunt and Grandmother. She grew up in Canon City and was a part of the blossom festival court.
She was married to her husband on November 6, 1960 and they were together 40 years when Robert Loomis passed away November 18, 2000.
Shortly after losing her husband, she decided to move back to Canon City. Barbara had so many friends and will be missed for her kind heart and spirit.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Rellene Kerbs; brothers, John Allen and Ken Mahannah (Therese) (all in Colorado); daughters, Debbie (Loomis) Kudrna (Mark Kudrna), Wendy Loomis and Robyn Loomis Pass; grandchildren, Brittany Kudrna Sharow, Vanessa Kudrna, Aiden Pass and Josephine Pass; nieces and nephews, Karen Aldridge, Daniel Aldridge, Malissa Hummel and Blane Allen (Kathy); and cousin, Susie Parrack (Chuck and Chaz).
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Loomis; brother, Larry Allen and nephew, Scot Allen.
Memorial Service, 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, Holt Funeral Home, 806 Macon Ave, Canon City. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, there is limited number of seating not to exceed 20 people, which have already been spoken for. Therefore, all other attendees who wish to attend the service must attend virtually.
