Benjamin James Keller, age 29, passed away October 2, 2023 surrounded by his friends and family. He was born and raised in Canon City, Colorado where he owned and ran his own contracting business, Keller Construction.
Ben was born June 18, 1994 to Randy Keller and Jennifer Malespini. He grew up in Fremont County where he was able to enjoy the many hobbies he had; including fishing, hunting, golfing, and riding anything that would give him an adrenaline rush! Ben was always a great shot and won many shooting competitions. While he always looked forward to his hobbies, more than anything, he enjoyed sharing them with his boys. He truly loved being with his family and friends the most. His family meant a lot to him. He met his wife Breanna in middle school, where their young love turned into true love, being together for 14 short years and married for 6 years (3/20/2017).
Ben is survived by his wife, Breanna Keller; sons, Aden and Axel; parents, Randy (Jeanie) Keller and Jennifer (Dante) Malespini; sister, Brooke (Jordan) Drake; nephews, Easton, Fletcher, and Graham Drake; brother, Wesley Whited; and many other family members, and cherished friends. Ben is preceded by his paternal grandfather, Gerald Keller; maternal great-grandmother, Audrey Ezzo; sister-in-law, Mackenzie Clausen; and nephew, Hayes Drake.
A memorial service will be held in Ben’s honor at 11:00 am, Thursday October 12, 2023 at Canon Community Baptist Church: 1117 Monroe Ave. Canon City, CO 81212. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family’s Go Fund Me account at https://gofund.me/cd0154d0.
