Betty Ann French

Betty Ann French (Robinson-Fay) was called home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Betty was born October 22, 1931 to Gladys and Robert Howard in Mullen, NE. She married Orville Robinson in 1947 and had 5 children. She was widowed in 1958. Betty then met and married Jack T. Fay and had 2 more children. Jack and Betty shared many years of love and memories until Jack passed away on October 20, 1987. Betty then met and married her forever partner, Arthur E. French on August 16, 1991. She and Art shared a long, wonderful life together full of love, laughter and adventure until he passed away on July 15, 2017.

In Betty’s long life she was cook, a waitress, a wrangler and a rancher. When she was 50, she went back to school and got her beautician’s license. She then worked until she was almost 70 years old. Art and Betty worked on a ranch in Sergeants, CO and they both loved that life. They enjoyed going horseback riding and camping together. Betty also belonged to the Wild Horse Association for many years.

Betty is survived by her and Art’s children, Kathrine (Ray) Mock, Jack (Tami) Robinson, Jerry (Cindy) Fay, Jim (Lori) Fay, John Pearson, Rex French, Ronnie (Susanne) French, Randy French, Ray (Tiffany) French, Fay (Larry) Failing and Bobby (Wenona) French; and many grand-children, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bruce and Robert Jr; sisters, Mary Stone and Eva Phelps; son, Glen Robinson; and daughters, Mary May Robinson and Fay Pearson. Betty always said she was blessed by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life for Betty will be held at 1 p.m on November 3, 2023 at Praise Community Church: 215 N Pikes Peak Ave. Florence, CO. The family is sincerely grateful to Skyline Ridge Nurse Home staff and Sangre de Cristo hospice.
