Betty Ann Cleveland, Longtime Canon City resident Betty Cleveland passed away June 30th in the compassionate care of Sangre de Cristo Hospice. Born near Divide, CO on March 28, 1935, Betty spent most of her youth growing up on the west side of Colorado Springs. She married into the military life and spent many years travelling, including Europe. Betty returned to Colorado Springs before moving to Simla and eventually Canon City in 1999.Betty is survived by brothers Ralph and Donald Murdoch, son Thomas Brown (Melissa), stepsons Steven Cleveland (Maryvonne), Michael Cleveland (Candy) and Daniel Cleveland (Cindy) as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandson. A memorial service is planned for Friday, July 31st at 2:00 PM at Holt Funeral Home in Canon City. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to contribute do so to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice in Betty's memory.
