Constance (Darwin) Hixon

Constance Shirlene (Darwin) Hixon passed away March 14, 2024 in Canon City, CO. She was born April 23, 1939 in Downey, CA, where she was also raised.

We honor Connie, who was a mother of four.  She was married to Robert Hixon for 51 years, until he passed away February 26, 2008. 

Connie is survived by three of her children, Julie (Michael) McIntyre, Daniel Hixon, and Jennifer (Mark) Norris; and grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley and Jacob; and great-grandchildren, Stephanie (Barry) and their son, Theo,  Ashley (Ortiz), their son, Jace and two daughters, Emie & Wren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert A. Hixon.

Connie touched many people's lives with her generosity and loving soul. She was always thanking the Lord for taking care of her. Connie will be truly missed by all the people that knew her and loved her.

Funeral service will be at 1p.m on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Holt Chapel of the Garden: 806 Macon Ave. Canon City, CO, burial to follow at Mountain Vale Memorial Gardens.
