Daryl Frost, a devoted Christian whose life was a living testament to faith, love, and kindness, passed away on December 18, 2025. His devotion to the Lord was evident not in grand words or public recognition, but in the quiet, faithful way he lived and loved others. Children and babies were drawn to his warm and gentle nature. He believed in loving his neighbor, helping others without expecting anything in return and offering grace and support in times of stress or sadness. He was generous with his time and always willing to lend a hand or offer a listening ear.
Daryl had an adventurous spirit and a love for travel. He delighted in seafood, especially trips to Mo’s near Depot Bay Oregon, and enjoyed fishing and camping whenever he could. He loved being near the ocean and enjoyed traveling to the southern states in the winter. Daryl never met a stranger as people were drawn to his friendly easy manner and his sense of humor. He was exceptionally approachable and he easily connected with anyone he met. He loved to play pinochle and would spend endless hours playing if offered the opportunity. He also had a passion for motorcycles and could never resist adding another one to his collection.
Daryl was exceptionally skilled with his hands; he built and remodeled numerous homes and cabins. Whether building, repairing or creating, he took great pride in doing things the right way. He had an exceptional work ethic and held himself to a high standard. He was also a patient teacher and was willing to share his knowledge with an eager learner.
Music brought Daryl great happiness. He played the guitar and guitarrón and sang beautifully, sharing his enthusiasm with other musicians. Some of his most cherished moments were spent playing music with Lin and Annie. Through his travels, music, and generous heart, Daryl formed meaningful friendships and treasured time with friends and family.
The love of his life was by his side when he went home to Jesus. He is now at peace, resting in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
“Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord” (Matthew 25:23)
