Derek David Delagi

Derek Delagi passed away March 4, 2021 with his family by his side, following a tragic accident at his home in Cañon City, Colorado. Derek was born in Salida, Colorado and soon after moved to Cañon City, where he was raised.  He graduated from Cañon City High School in 2019 and was currently working for GFL Environmental, in Colorado Springs.

Derek was known for his awesome sense of humor and his infectious smile that could lighten up any situation. He loved cars and motorcycles and would attend car meets, races and go on cruises with various car clubs.  He also loved hiking, bicycling and animals, especially dogs (not spiders).  But most of all, he loved his family and friends and would do anything for any one of them.

Derek will be truly missed by all his family, friends and the many lives that he has touched.

Memorial service, 10am Monday, March 29, Cañon Community Baptist Church, 1111 Monroe Ave., in Canon City.
