Diane (Di) D. Casserly

Diane D. (Di) Casserly, 64, died August 23, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. She was born April 23, 1959 to Duane and Delores (Geiger) Schellenger in Cañon City. Di attended local schools and was a Class of 1977 graduate. 

A wife to Jeff Casserly, mom to Kristopher Jones, sister to Doug (Kathy) Schellenger, aunt to many nieces and nephews and friend of many. 

Di was a nurse for 35 years, caring for her patients and family. Di loved her pets, reading, shopping and, most of all, she loved her family dearly. Di had a wonderful way of putting others at ease- she could say and do little things that would comfort and please.

Di is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00AM to 3:00PM, Saturday, Spetember 23, 2023 at Mountain View Park, 922 North Orchard, Cañon City.
