Dixie Lee Winden Sutton passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the age of 90, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dixie was born on August 14, 1931, in Ault, Colorado.
Dixie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her career was being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
Dixie is survived by her children, Katherine (Larry) Wales, Vickie Winden, David Winden, Penny (Corey) Hepworth, Julane (Jim) Kurtz, and Duane (Maria) Winden. She also leaves twenty-five grandchildren; forty-seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy “Dotty” Marie Moore-Dutcher; husband, Carroll Sutton; his children; and several other beloved family members. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Winden; sons, Ted and Jim; parents, Flora Delila (Epperson) and Arthur James Moore; and one brother, Robert Eugene Moore.
A public viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM before the service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 4720 Surfwood, Pueblo, Colorado 81005. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Services will be available via Zoom with the meeting code 955 3724 1645.
