Donna Freeman Obituary

Donna Lucille Freeman, 91, of Canon City, Colorado peacefully passed away on June 13th, 2020. She was born March 17, 1929, in Buck Grove, Crawford County, Iowa to Emil and May Greder. She married Robert Freeman of Ainsworth, Nebraska on August 6th, 1951.

Robert and Donna Freeman moved to Canon City, CO in 1976, after living in Colorado Springs for ten years after Robert retired from the military. Upon moving to Canon City Donna was a homemaker and house cleaner as well as a lifelong member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved gardening and baking. She was a volunteer for the Head Start program and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donna was a blessing to those who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Donna is survived by her three sons, Eric (Deb) Freeman of Fort Bragg, California, Bobby (Mary) Freeman of Canon City, CO, and Kenneth Freeman of Pueblo, CO. Eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, her husband, and grandchild Crystal.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
