Doris Grandy Obituary

Doris J. (Parsons) Grandy received her crown of life and was escorted to her new home in Heaven on May 16, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1930, to Alden C. and Norma M. Parsons at Elliot Crossroads, Morgan County, Ohio. She went on to attend Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. Doris was later joined in marriage with her husband, Harold L. Grandy on November 17, 1951.

Doris is survived by her husband, Harold Grandy; children, Susan M. (Scott) Heffner and Daniel L. (Ann) Grandy; five grandchildren, Marcus and Leigh Heffner, Juliene Grandy, and Dashiell and Arielle Sarnoff; brother-in-law, Ken Koloff; sisters-in-law, Linda Parsons and Cheryl Parsons; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends in both Ohio and Colorado.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alden and Norma Parsons; sisters, Donna Johnson and Mary Lou Koloff; and brothers, Roger and Robert Parsons.

Doris lived her life in service to her Lord, her family, and her community.
