Doris (Foraker) Hopper was born and raised in Canon City and graduated from Canon City High School in 1959.  Doris Foraker met Charley and married on April 3, 1964. A marriage that lasted 58 years. Doris worked for an insurance company in Canon City, school district 11 and Charles D. Hopkins Insurance. Doris enjoyed the Double Eagle in Cripple Creek. 

Doris is survived by two sons, Robert and Charles; sister, Fay Foraker; brothers Larry and Mike Foraker. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Charley Hopper and brother Bill Foraker.

In faith in God the journey has not come the end.  The journey with God for father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit has just begun.
