Earl Edward Turner

Earl Edward Turner passed away on March 29, 2022, after a brief illness. Earl was born on September 24, 1933, in Franklin County, Virginia, to Edward and Ada (Crowder) Turner.

Early years were spent in Rocky Mount, Virginia where Earl met the love of his life, Marie. Together they would journey through life for the next 62 years. Side by side, they weathered the storms of life and came out stronger on the other side. While living in Virginia, three children were born from the marriage, David, Carolyn, and James. Then, after a move to Canon City, the youngest of four, Kimberly, was born. Earl was a retired truck driver and took great pride in bragging about cement he had hauled over the years for widely known places.

He is survived by his son, James (Jude) Turner of Coaldale; daughters, Carolyn (Richard) Wolfe of Pueblo, and Kimberly (Joshua) Boone-Wallis of Iowa; grandchildren, David (Rachelle) Wolfe of Kremmling, Lynsey Wolfe of Pueblo, and Madison and Joshua Boone-Wallis of Iowa; and great-grandchildren, Mackayla, Mackenzie, and Jaxon Wolfe of Kremmling.

Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Marie, and oldest son, David.
