Elizabeth Deeann “Dee” Richardson, 67, of Boone, North Carolina (formerly of Florence, Colorado, and Arkansas) passed away October 12, 2021, at Watauga Medical Center in Boone, North Carolina. Dee was born on January 19, 1954, in Roswell, New Mexico, to John and Ottie M. Chuculate.
Dee was a devout Christian who loved her Lord Jesus, spreading joy and the word of God. Dee loved crocheting blankets and other items, donating them to the homeless shelters and nursing homes. She was very concerned about keeping everyone warm! She loved doing arts & crafts, volunteering, traveling, and taking care of her plants. She also loved collecting family photos and anything else that caught her eye! She found joy in everything in life, a hug from the grandkids to the sight of flowers she would see on the side of the road. Dee had a colorful personality and never met a stranger! She wanted to take care of everyone around her and ensure they all "had enough!” Dee loved her kids, grandchildren, family, and friends with all her heart.
Dee is survived by her daughters, Hanna (Silas) M. Drywater of Danville, Arkansas, and Sarah (Trevor) D. Hadley of Vilas, North Carolina; sons, Earl Richardson and Stephen Richardson both of Booneville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Whitley E. Richardson of Glenwood, Georgia, Tristan M.
