Evelyn M. Sellers passed away on May 13, 2025, at Skyline Ridge Nursing Home in Canon City, Colorado. She was born to Ernest Reed and Rebecca Mae Reed of Grafton, West Virginia, on February 24, 1931. She was married to Gerld W. Sellers of Manassa, Colorado, on November 21, 1961, and later to Donald Conklin of Tres Piedras, New Mexico, on June 16, 2012. She is survived by three children: Susan Erdmann (Terry Erdmann) of Canon City, Colorado, Beverly Pringle (Edward Pringle) of Florence, Arizona, and Don Sellers (Janean Sellers) of DuBois, Wyoming. She is survived by her ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald W. Sellers, her parents, and her thirteen brothers and sisters.
She was a beloved member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she and her late husband served a mission in the Fox Creek, Colorado Branch. She served in many positions in both the Manassa, Colorado Ward and the Fox Creek Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was loved by all. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was the glue of her family and she especially loved little children.
Visitations will be held at Roger’s Funeral Home at 205 N. 3rd Street in Manassa, Colorado on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A viewing will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 311 Main Street, Manassa, Colorado, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Funeral services beginning at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will immediately follow the funeral and will be held at the Manassa Cemetery in Manassa, Colorado.
