Feena Dee Cote (Seger), 73, passed away on June 28, 2024, in her hometown of Pueblo, Colorado. Born in Pueblo, Feena spent her early years attending Rye Elementary and Rye High School, later advancing her education at Pueblo Community College where she trained to become a registered nurse.
Feena dedicated her life to the field of nursing, working at St. Mary Corwin Hospital and providing compassionate care at several long-term care facilities. Her commitment to her profession was paralleled by her adventurous and loving spirit. Feena had a passion for gardening and enjoyed the melodies of country western music along with hits from the 60s and 70s. She was skilled with technology, adept at using her iPhone, which kept her connected with family and friends through calls and texts.
She is survived by her children Clint, Chris, and Justin Cote, and Jennifer Medina; grandchildren Camille, Clint Jr., Dyllin, and Aspen Cote; sister Fay Larkin; aunt Hellen Baber; and several nieces and nephews. Feena was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Forest Clinton Cote; sister, Geneva Davis; and her parents, Lester and Catherine Seger.
A private family gathering and a local remembrance ceremony at Canon Lodge Care Center are planned, with dates to be determined. The Holt Family Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Feena's love and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
