Franklin Eugene Orton

Franklin Eugene Orton (Frank) passed away March 25, 2025, at home after a long illness. He was 74 years old. He was born in Florence, Colorado to Dellas and Charles Orton. He married Linda Rugs in 2001. He was a sheet-rocker by trade and worked for the City of Florence for 10 years before retiring.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Dellas and Charles and his brother, Randy Orton. He is survived by his wife: Linda; sister-in-law: Vickie Riggs; brothers and sisters: Jerry (Pegg), Bob, Karen (Loren), Smith, Linda (Dennis) Medina; nieces and nephews: Brandy, Darien, Heather, Ivy, Christy, Michael, Robby, Jordan, Joel and Quinn.

Frank was an avid sports fan and loved all sports. He liked to go fishing. He always looked forward to going deer and elk hunting with his buddies. Frank will be sadly missed by his family and friends. There will be no service now, but maybe at a later date. Arrangement entrusted to Holt Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
