Obituary
George Lewis Patterson passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 93 years of age in Pueblo, CO. George is survived by his three sons, John (Blaise, who preceded him in death), Michel, and Richard (Barb) Patterson; three grandchildren, Ryan (Gabrielle), Spencer, Chandler Patterson; and great-grandson, Lyon Patterson.
The son of John and Louise Gaide Patterson, George was born on January 22, 1929, in Pueblo, CO. He was one of four children and preceded in death by Bernice, John, and Tom.
George served in the Marines from 1948-1952 and was a drill instructor on Paris Island. He married Lena Mae Morton (Toby) in 1951 in Buford, South Carolina, and graduated from Pueblo Junior College in 1954. Throughout his career he worked in various project management positions and was a passionate home remodeler and builder.
A graveside service and celebration of life in honor of George Patterson will be held on Tuesday, September 20th, at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain Vale Memorial Gardens, Canon City, CO.
