Gladys Gunda Dubas

Gladys G. Dubas, of Canon City, CO, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, 2022. Gladys was born in Bamberg, Germany. She was a 1969 graduate of Palmer High School and married her husband Dennis, on June 26th, 1971. She worked at Penrose Hospital, Corpus Christi Catholic Church, School District 11, and as a homemaker. She loved crafts, playing bingo, and enjoyed many trips to Germany to visit her family.

Gladys is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Wittmann and her sister-in-law, Martha Ross. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dennis Dubas, her daughters Andrea Albaugh and Jennifer Piluso, her son-in-law Heath Albaugh, and grandson Aiden Piluso. Her grandson was the light of her life.

Service info is not yet available. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the American Cancer Society.
