Guy Henry “Hank” Danley, 75, of Canon City passed away March 14, 2025. He was born Aug. 25, 1949, in Colorado Springs. He survived polio as a young child. Hank had a long career as a truck driver and spent his early years building and racing stock cars and sprint cars. He cobbled together a pit crew of friends and family to help him on those Saturday nights in Pueblo and Erie, Colorado. At one time, he managed a gas station in Florence.
He loved his family and friends, his Chevrolet pickup, his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and he enjoyed many motorcycle trips with friends.
Hank’s family would like to thank his close friends for their compassionate care and support through recent months. Special thanks to the staff at Sangre de Cristo Hospice and Skyline Ridge Nursing Home. At Hank’s request, no services are planned. If you have a heart to make a gift in his name, please donate to Sangre de Cristo Hospice.
