Hoshedar Mistry Obituary

Mr. Hoshedar Hoshang Mistry, best known in his circle as Hoshi, was born in Bombay,
India. He transitioned on his celestial journey on Monday, October 13, 2025. He was
always full of life and had a positive attitude loving people, animals and nature. He had
a gentle disposition, calm demeanor, and a sharp mind for intellect. He attended St.
Peter’s High School and Wilson College, a University in Bombay, where he earned a
Bachelor’s Degree in Science. Although he had many outstanding qualities he had a
lifelong quest for knowledge. He studied many specialties over the years and became a
Real Estate agent for over 30 years. He was known best for his outstanding customer
service and always exceeded his customer’s expectations as an agent.
As a young man he worked on long-distance trains as a helper and guide. He led youth
and adults on journeys to Nepal and Kathmandu. He was a Boy Scout and also worked
in the Middle East in the hospitality industry. He migrated to the USA where he enrolled
in The University of Pueblo, Colorado, where he earned his second Bachelors Degree
of Science. He was sent overseas to manage projects and that experience built on his
diverse portfolio of skills. Between 1985 and 1987, he met the love of his life, Margaret
Egan, PhD., who was his wife for the rest of his life. He loved her dearly and was
devastated when she was struck down while helping a deer on the infamous Highway
115. He remained dedicated to her throughout his life and had fond memories and a
great deal of respect for her.
Despite all of his accomplishments, his last ten years brought him a great deal of joy as
he spent his time working as a Paraprofessional with Special Needs children who just
“adored” him. He worked at five different schools during his career in education and was
loved by the families and staff that he served in both the real estate and education
fields. He was gifted with people skills and was known for his generous and supportive
nature, caring personality and joyful demeanor. He lived with a zest for life like no other.
He absolutely loved Colorado and would never leave the state. He was ambitious and
intelligent with dreams to contribute to his community at every opportunity. He had
friends throughout the world and has touched countless lives over the years. He will be
sorely missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his family: Adil and Khorshed
Mistry, Xerxes Mistry, of Houston, Texas: Kernaaz, Kersi, Rayomand, and Aiesha
Engineer of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
