Jean Fruchey Radlein
On December 18, 1932, in Savannah, Georgia, a southern belle was born to James and Lila Dykes. She
had one brother, Edward Dykes. She married Ned Fruchey on September 4, 1952. To this union, 2
children were born: Vicki (Kerry) of Cañon City and Cyndi (Pat) of Greeley. She had 5 grandchildren, 8
great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She married Robert Radlein in 2012. Jean loved to
travel, shop, volunteer and do water aerobics. The highlight of her life was when Ned got stationed in
Germany. She loved the culture and food. They were able to travel to many countries. Jean was an
excellent cook and made many southern meals that her family enjoyed.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Ned in 2004, second husband, Robert in 2014, her mother
and father, her brother and a great-grandchild. Her home for the last 4 years was Progressive care
center, where she had 3 exceptional care givers: Edwina, Holly and Tina. She was loved very much and
will be missed by many.
A private family service will be scheduled at a later date.
