Jenny Schwinn

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce that Jenny Lynn Schwinn of Florence, CO passed on March 24, 2025.  In life she was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, wife and most of all a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She was born to Chester and Lucille Costello in Garden City, KS on August 4, 1960.  She cherished growing up with her four siblings Kathy, Esther, Anna and Chet (Bubba).  The family moved to Colorado in 1972 where she grew up and blossomed into the loving person that we know to this day.  She found love, friendship and her forever home here.  She had two loves, Terry and Kevin.  From those loves she had her daughters, Crystal, Julie and Amanda to whom she devoted her life. Her joy expanded, as her daughters found their loves, and she gained sons, Tony, Will and Chris.  Her grandchildren Gaven, Sebastian, Lyra, Kelby and Lily were the light of her life. 

Jenny embraced life and enjoyed doing many things such as gardening, crafts and music.  Jenny loved going to Cripple Creek with Richard and Kathy, she also loved traveling, especially with her best friend and soul sister Tina. When I close my eyes I see our beautiful mamma with her long flowing hair, sparkling blue eyes and a smile that lights the room.  My heart knows she dances now in heaven with those who passed before her and she is free.    

A private celebration of life will be held at Jenny’s request.

In lieu of flowers a donation to St Jude Children’s Hospital would be appreciated, as this was a cause dear to her heart.
