Jimmy Griffith Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Griffith of Penrose, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2022.

Jimmy attended Pueblo Community College for mechanics and graduated with his associate degree.

Jimmy loved his dogs, Dixie and Heidi. He was an excellent fisherman and was the first to catch a fish. Jimmy enjoyed watching football, his favorite team being the Broncos. Uncle Jimmy was always there to lend a helping hand to his family, friends, and neighbors. He loved to go out to eat with his sister Kathy as they ran errands. While his passion for horses and watching movies is unmatched, you can’t forget Jimmy’s love for Christmas either.

Jimmy is survived by his sisters, Elaine Bauer of Arvada, CO and Katherine Williams of Florence, CO; and brothers, Kenneth (Virginia) Chuculate of Pueblo, CO and Tabb Morrow of Canon City, CO. He is also survived by his devoted niece, Dawn Myers of Florence, CO and her children, Bradin Myers and Kelcie (Braxton) Myers. Uncle Jimmy has a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, as well as his friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maxcine Casey of Penrose, CO; brothers, Gary Griffith of Irvine, TX and Joe Griffith of Sapulpa, OK; and sister, Dee Richardson of Boone, NC.

Jimmy Griffith will be extremely missed and never forgotten.
