Obituary
Reverend John Taylor went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 20, 2023. He was a resident of Canon City for the last 30 years, after retiring from over 40 years as a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene. After moving to Canon City, he became a janitor at Skyline Elementary School which he enjoyed very much, and he made many friends among the staff and students there. John also served his country in the Army during World War II.
John is survived by his children, Ron Taylor of Canon City and Becky Taylor of Green Valley, AZ; granddaughter, Wendy (Ted) Frazzell; and great-grandson Conner; all of Vail, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Delois in 2015. At his request, no services are planned.
