John Vaughan, son of John Y. and Arla (Baker) Vaughan was born October 21, 1944 in North Dakota. John was the oldest of 4 children: Betsy (Randy) Graff, Vicki (Larry) Vondron, and Bruce (Cindy) Vaughan.
On June 16, 1968, John married Dorleen Griffin. Together they have a daughter, Heather (Chuck) McDuffie; a grandson, Justin (Danielle) McDuffie; and 3 great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kaiden, and Tucker.
John graduated from Wiggins High School in 1963. He served in the USAF for 4 years and was stationed in Ramstein, Germany. He then worked for BC Equipment in Fort Morgan, CO and then went on to own several business, including Sears in Canon City, CO. John enjoyed spending time with his model train collection. He loved being apart of his bowling league, and he adored his 2 cocker spaniels, CoCo and Patches.
