Jon S. Carro

Jon S Carro      February 16th, 1961 to December 13, 2024

Jon Carro passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 13, 2024, with his loving dog, Spike, by his side. Jon was 63 years old. Jon was born in Waukegan Illinois to Walter (Skip) Carro and Judith Ann Carro. He spent his younger years in Illinois and after his Dad moved to Colorado in the 70s,  Jon followed. He spent his last year of High school at Nederland High School in Nederland, Colorado. After Graduation, he joined the military and went overseas. When he returned his Dad and stepmom had since moved to Las Vegas where Jon then moved and resided until 2012. He later moved to Canon City Colorado where his dad and Stepmom moved in 2003. Jon bought a house a mile away from them where he lived until his passing.

He survived Cancer and a major car accident which injured his back severely. Jon never let that stop him, he built his life in Colorado, he loved fishing, boating with his Dad,  camping, and helping neighbors. He had an avid love for cars and motorcycles. Jon could tinker with anything and make it work. He was the most amazing builder and handyman.  On top of that,  he also loved to cook and was definitely chef extrodanare!!

Jon lived more years than most in his 63 years as he lived life to the fullest He is survived by his Dad Walter (Skip) Carro of Brookside Co.  His mom Judith Page, His Stepdad,  David Page of Florida.  His sister Debby Reilly of Wildwood Florida  Many nieces and nephews. Stepsiblings: Geri, Dale, Davey Page of Florida Stepsiblings, Sandra, Mark, Gary, and Kelly Bartkowiak of Colorado. He is preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Gibbs of Round Rock Texas Stepmom Frances J. Carro Stepbrothers Mike Bartkowiak and Danny Bartkowiak

Jon was an amazing person and will missed so much by all. Condolences to Skip Carro 1810 Bluff St  Brookside Co 81212 and a memorial will be held in his honor on Feb 16 2025 location pending
