Josephine Anna Shaefer

Josephine A. Shaefer was born in Carlisle, Iowa on December 27, 1928. She married Ray E. Shaefer on
July 7, 1947.

Josephine is survived by her daughter; Betty (John) Hanawalt, son; Larry (Brenda) Shaefer,
Grandchildren; Thomas (Maggie) Llewellyn, Paul (Mary) E. Llewellyn, Duncan (Penny) Shaefer, Clinton
(Carrie) Shaefer; and Great grandchildren; Loren, Zachary, Ethan, Sandra, Evie and Hallie.

She is preceded in death by: her husband; Ray and son; Edmund.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, April 12, 2024 in the Holt Chapel of the Garden, 806 Macon
Ave., Cañon City.

She will be laid to rest with Ray and Edmund in the sacred grounds of Dexter Cemetery in Dexter Iowa at 11:00am on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
