Juanita (Johnson) Cumins

Juanita (Johnson) Cumins, 96, died October 11, 2023, at her home in Penrose, Colorado.

Juanita was born June 18, 1927, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Claude and Ethel (Wimmer) Johnson. Juanita married Cecil W. Cumins on May 15, 1945, in Coalgate Oklahoma. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter; Patricia (Art) Mills; estranged son, Cecil G. Cumins; Grandchildren, Bobby (Paula) Mills, Heath D. (Rolinda) Mills, Chopper (Thiry) Mills, Levi Cumins and son; Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren, Dustin Mills and sons, Alaina (Kris) Mcfarlane and 3 children, Lorne Mills, Cubby Mills, Bri Mills, Clay Mills and son, Riley (Justin) Mills, Daesha Mills, Dawesyn Mills, Jentry Mills; Brother in law; Calvin Cumins and family; Vera Owens and family; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; Cecil Cumins; daughter, Donna Jean; her parents; grandson, Eli Cumins; 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2023, 1:00 pm at Holt Chapel of the Garden, 806 Macon Ave, Cañon City, Colorado. Her burial will follow at 2:00pm at Beaver Park Cemetery, 376 12th Street, Penrose, Colorado.
