Juanita E. Reeves

Juanita E. Reeves passed away on September 27, 2021, in Canon City at the age of 93.

She was born May 29, 1928, in Pueblo, Colorado to Floyd and Hazel Cooly. Juanita found joy in sewing, even making her daughter, Nancy’s, Easter dress. She loved being outdoors, either in her garden or fishing, but she equally enjoyed staying in and canning.

Juanita is survived by her son, Don Reeves, and daughter, Nancy Reeves.

She was preceded in death by her precious mother and father, Hazel and Floyd Cooly; 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Progressive Care Center for all their kindness and time devoted to Juanita.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Mountain Vale Cemetery in Canon City, Colorado.
