Judy Marie Lee

Judy Lee, 72, met with the Lord on the Mountain, September 29, 2021, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born August 9, 1949, to Clyde and Erma Linda West, in Cañon City, Colorado. Judy grew up in the mountains around Guffey, Colorado with her parents and siblings, working together with them at the family sawmill.

Judy married Oscar Lee, in Cañon City, Colorado on August 10, 1981. She worked alongside Oscar for over 10 years with their hay business. She also held various other jobs, including the Fremont County Sheriff’s Department and the Colorado Department of Corrections as a Case Manager, where she retired after 22 years of service.

Judy liked to oil paint (mostly mountain scenery), sing & travel. She enjoyed family gatherings, especially at Thanksgiving, shopping for everyone, attending the many sports games family members participated in, and all her grandchildren were her pride and joy.   

Judy is survived by her husband, Oscar; and their children, Terrie Lee, Doug (Chris) Lee, Benton III (Cindy) Webb, Cheri Parker, Sean (Kristina) Webb, and Tonia (Jason) Coates. They are now blessed with 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Judy is also survived by her siblings, Betty Gallimore, Nancy Hinkley, Linda Klettke, Clydia West, and Clyde West; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Robert Tilton; and great-granddaughter, Kyra Rolando.

There will be a Celebration of Life at their home (4500 CR 123 Penrose, Colorado 81240) on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. for family and friends (bring your favorite stories). A Blessing will be given by Jason Gallimore, followed by food and memory presentations.
