Julie Howell

Julie Anne Howell passed into the nearer presence of God at her home on August 13, 2025. She was born March 14, 1960 in Olathe, KS, the daughter of Lawrence and Jeanne Crane. She attended schools in Olathe, KS, Tolleson, AZ and Canon City, CO.

She loved the mountains and often spoke of her time living not far from Cripple Creek, CO. She loved animals, often posting pictures of them on her social media, as well as sharing special prayers and thoughts to family and friends. She also was fond of her beloved cat Bubba.

Julie is survived by her daughter, Kirsten Davies; grandson, Aiden Maestas; and four brothers, Steve (Marta) Crane, Jeff Crane, Scott (Julie Crane) and Russell (Myung Chu) Crane. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Julie was preceded in death by her sister, Susan; her son, Jim; and her parents, Jeanne and Lawrence.
