June L. Kilburn died December 16, 2020 at her home in Cañon City, Colorado. She was 74 years old.
June was born January 10, 1946 in Minnesota to Albert and Vera Lick and moved to Colorado in 1968. On December 18, 1971, June married Jim Kilburn and the couple spent over 50 happy years together.
June had a long, successful career in banking. She retired in 2007, when she and Jim moved to what is fondly known as “the mountain house” in Westcliffe, Colorado.
June was a devout Christian and enjoyed church and bible study. After church on Sundays, her favorite activity was to cheer on her favorite sports team, the Denver Broncos. She was an avid knitter and made many gifts for her friends and family. She also loved to shop and could often be found searching for bargains at local thrift stores.
Above all, June was devoted to her family. She loved to spend time with her loved ones, especially her grandkids. She was known for her exuberant personality, sense of humor, and infectious laugh.
June is survived by her husband, Jim, of Cañon City, Colorado; siblings, Judy (Michael), of Greeley, Colorado, Debbie (Ed), of Duluth, Minnesota, David (Mary Ann), of Hermantown, Minnesota; children, Jennifer (Sean), of Parker, Colorado, Brian (Barb), of Parker, Colorado and four grandchildren.
