Katherine Thatcher Obituary

Katherine Adelaide Thatcher passed away on March 12, 2022, while bravely battling cancer.

The fifth spoke of the Bungert sibling wheel and the only blonde girl out of the bunch. Always ready to help anyone that needed it, going out of her way to do so. She was fortunate to have three lovely daughters, whom she loved dearly, all blessing her with eight grandchildren (and six great-grandchildren) all of whom she also adored.

Kathy is survived by her siblings, John (Jake) Bungert, Carole Garrecht, Barbara Bigelow, Denise Haas, and Karl Bungert; three daughters and their spouses, Tara Beers (Dave), Kathy Bosisio (Rich), and Denise “DJ” Gardea (Manolo). She is preceded in death by her sister, Marie Webber, and her close friend, Richard Thatcher.

We will be celebrating Kathy in New Jersey, with a Celebration of Life. Kathy will be desperately missed by all those she's left behind. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
