Our lives changed on March 1, 2006, when Landen Michael Owens entered this world, and our lives were forever changed on August 26, 2023, when he left us. What a wonderful gift he was! He had a smile that was unforgettable and a sense of humor that no one could ignore. His sense of family and friendship was unmatched- if you were his friend, he considered you family.
Landen was one of those people that had plans. If he wanted something, he figured out a way and he went after it. He was unstoppable. He loved his car. He loved dirt bikes, fishing and adventures. His intention was to graduate early and he was taking welding classes to grow his skills for the future. His uncle, Tim Williams, taught him so much about motorcycles and other things in life.
Landen is survived by his parents, Steven Owens and Valerie (Williams) Owens. He was a wonderful big brother to his sister, Alayna Owens. Landen is also survived by his grandparents: Kevin and Lori Williams and Glen and Shelley Owens; great-grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Service for Landen will be held at 11AM Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Vineyard Church in Cañon City. Interment will follow at Mountain Vale Cemetery.
