Lila Krey

Lila D. (Tice) Durbin-Krey also known as Dollie, passed away early morning Monday, May 27, 2024 at
home in Canon City, Colorado. She was living with Linda, her daughter.
Dollie was born March 12,1930 in Booker, TX. The daughter of Alva (Short) and Ersel (Hinton) Tice. She
attended school at Beaver High School and later went to cosmetology school. She married the love of
her life, Lester Durbin, at Beaver, OK, on January 3, 1948. He died on October 1, 1979. She later
married Harvey Krey and he passed November 29, 2000. She was a Beautician in Liberal, Kansas for 35
years before retiring in 1994.
She loved reading and spending time with family and friends.
Dollie is preceded in death by her parents, brother Denzil Kuns, daughter Annette Chappell,
granddaughter Sara Hurd, and great-grandson Michael (Mikey) Betz and by son-in-law Jay McCormick.
She is survived by daughters Linda McCormick and Kathy (Ronald) Regier. Grandchildren Becky Betz.
Jason (Tara) Betz, Mary (Ron) Davis, Michael (Megan) Regier, and Kevin (Katrina) Chappell. Great-
grandchildren Sean (Ayesha) Betz, Nick (Sarah) Betz, Mike (Senaida) Betz, Tanner Davis, Matthew Davis,
Caston Regier and Cale Regier, Nikkea (Ty) McClain, Sarah (Andrew) Garcia, Lisa, Sebastian, and
Anastasiya Betz, Kylee Dellinger, Zade, Karma, and Castiel Chappell, and Isa, Aiden, Anakin, and Jordan.
Great-great-grandchildren Sean Jr., Jerico, Skye, Elijah, Lucius, Jason Jaxon (JJ), Christopher, Scarlett,
Titan, Kendall, Deacon, and Athena.
There will be a graveside memorial service later at Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal, Kansas.
