On August 13, 2024, Linda “Kay” Wold (England) of Canon City Colorado after battling destabilizing
Asthma, succumbed and passed away at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. Linda was born in Kansas
in 1951 while her parents Julia England and Delbert England lived in Walsh Colorado. Her mother and
Uncle Alfred England raised Linda Kay on the family farm. Linda attended school in Walsh Colorado and
worked as a nurse’s aide at the local hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters
Dana and Francis. She is survived by her bothers Frank (Teresa England Rangeley) William England Walsh, and
Justin England Kansas,
In 1975, she met and married Alex Wold, her husband of forty-nine years until her passing. They moved to
Canon City where she worked in the health care and retail fields. They had four children Michaela Wold
of Pueblo, Trent (Chrystal Wold) of Thornton, Troy (Kala Wold) of Canon City and Monica (Robert Burgard) of
Alaska. Fourteen Grandchildren, Sy, Orin, Kadence, Leo, Zander, Colton, Trinity, Serenity, Ben, Taylor,
Rebecca, Abagail, Cheyenne and Libby with great grandbaby Brumble.
Linda Kay enjoyed all her grandchildren and great grandbaby, they were her life, she liked, knitting,
handicrafts, yard sales, buy and trade websites, playing games on her phone and baking.
