Pueblo West, CO.  Lloyd (Nick) Allred, 75, went to his heavenly home on January 15, 2024 while surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of his home.  He was born August 22, 1948, at Tooele Army Depot in Tooele, UT to Kenneth Smith Allred and Cleo Pope-Allred, who preceded him in death.

Lloyd attended high school in Ogden and went on to serve in the United States Army where he was stationed in Vietnam as a combat medic.  After his military service, Lloyd earned his degree in Education at Weber State College.   He also became a certified welder and mechanic.  He owned and operated several auto repair and construction companies throughout his life.  He married Dorothy Wilson on Feb. 20, 2009, in Monte Vista CO.  The couple traveled for several years before settling in Pueblo West, CO. 

Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, gold dredging, motorcycles, landscaping, designing and building things, but most of all he loved being with his family.  He was a master of many talents.

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of the family home, sisters, Linda (Jon) Abrams, of Wrightwood, CA, and Judy (Rob) Miller, of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother, Burt Allred of Clearfield, UT; six children and stepchildren, Crystal (Josh) Hughes, Kenneth Allred, and Aaron Allred all of Vancouver, WA,  Tara (Thomas) Kane, of Florence, CO, Cory (Kelly) Avila, of Monte Vista, CO, and Kasi (Shem) Ure, of Pueblo West, CO.  He was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Lloyd chose cremation and wanted no services.  To those who love him, please know that his family will honor him by honoring his wishes.
