Lucille Tanner

A Beautiful Soul Who Graced This Earth

Lucille Tanner lived a long life and made this world a better place. She was born in Salida, Colorado on November 18, 1935 and left this earth on June 5, 2025 in Canon City, Colorado. Her daughter, Sherla Dunivet preceded her in death in April 2010.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Allynn) Hovden; sons, James (Pam) Andon and George (Becky) Andon;  along with 8 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Lucille was a classy lady who enjoyed the simple things in life. A woman who took many under her wing to provide the love of a mother whether they were her children or not. Lucille had a contagious laugh that would bring a smile to our faces and a beautiful sense of humor that would light up a room. Our hearts are broken that our time with her has passed. But, we are left with wonderful memories that we will treasure and hold in our hearts for years to come.
