She married Hadley “Jake” Bradbury in Raton, New Mexico on May 10, 1952, and the family moved to Canon City in August 1956.

In her free time, Phyllis enjoyed line dancing, visiting with friends and family, and volunteering at Harrison and Washington Elementary School for over 20 years.

Phyllis is survived by her children,  Barlow (Sylvia) Bradbury, Hadley (Joan) Bradbury, Cherie (Bob) Holder, and Shelly (Kurt) Stringari; daughter-in-law, Gwen Bradbury; and sister-in-law, Donna Lakin; grandchildren, Zach(Nicholle) Holder, Stacee (Derek) Klaassen, Landon (Mary) Bradbury, Layne (Nick) Arndt, Shanna (Kris) Mitchell, Danika Donovan, Jake (Trent) Bradbury, Trevor Stringari, Demi (Jason) Evans, Trenton Stringari, and 11 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her special friend, Russ Hamilton.
