Margaret Maxine (Atkinson) Schulte

On Wednesday, November 3, 2021, Margaret (Atkinson) Schulte, 91, of Canon City - wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother - went to be with her Heavenly Father.

She was an excellent cook and was known for her delicious pies, especially her rhubarb. She loved having her family over for holiday dinners. Margaret retired from the Fremont Bank of Canon City.

She leaves behind her husband of 23 years, David Schulte; her daughter, Linda (Robert) Beachey; her son, Steve Atkinson; grandsons, Brian Waye, Jonathon Atkinson, Ryan (Holly) Atkinson, Carson (Chadell) Atkinson; and granddaughter, Jerilyn (Clint) Johnson, who shared her birthday; as well as great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Vida and Alice Davis, and her sister, Wilda Cole.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the Canon City Community Baptist Church with Stephen Atkinson officiating. Pallbearers as follows, Ryan Atkinson, Jonathan Atkinson, Carson Atkinson, Clint Johnson, Bob Beachey, & Brian Waye.
