Obituary
Marla Mae Relich, 86, of Canon City, passed away on August 7, 2023.
Marla was born on December 15, 1936, in Lay Colorado. She was a happy and nurturing mother who easily became anyone's best friend. Marla dedicated 40+ years of her life working as a certified medical assistant and found joy in transcribing medical records.
Marla is survived by her children, Jim and Jeanette; brother Mike Simonson (Carolyn); and grandchildren Brianna and Blaine as well as extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Lola Simonson; husband Mark; brother Dennis and Sister Norma.
Marla found solace in her faith and was an active member of the Grandview Christian Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Holt Funeral Home Chapel. Marla will be laid to rest at Mountain Vale Cemetery.
Marla Mae Relich will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family, her nurturing personality, and her kind-hearted nature. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
