Mary Joann Seiling

Mary Joann (Rich) Seiling passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 90.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Joann was a long-time La Veta resident and most recently lived in Canon City, CO. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Ann Kattnig (David); son, Clint A. Seiling (Cindy); and daughter, Leigh Ann Osbment (Darren.) She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee T. Seiling; mother, Beatrice Irene (Gamble) Rich; father, Charles Hugh Rich; and brother Morton Leo Rich. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and their families. A Graveside Service will be held on July 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosita Cemetery, 6255 County Road 328, Westcliffe, CO 81252.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the La Veta United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
