Mary Ann Baker, age 84, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. Born in Wenatchee, WA in 1940, she was known to talk more than 2 women combined. She was a volunteer with the Florence Lyons for well over 35 years and had a great love for animals, favoring pigs and dachshunds the most. Her passion for baking, making female fudge, canning pickles, and cooking delicious food was loved by all who were fortunate enough to be fed by her. She loved working in the yard and going for long drives in the mountains. Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Janae Brown; sons, Mike and Steve (Cheri) Donovan; grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, and Natasha; she also loved having 5 great-granddaughters and 4 great-grandsons. Her name quickly changed to “GG”, which made her heart smile every time she heard it. She was strong, independent, sweet, witty, loving, funny, and oh so feisty. It cannot be measured how much she will be missed. There will be no services at Mary Ann’s request.
