Michelle Werner

Michelle Werner, 55, of Pueblo West, CO, passed away of natural causes on February 16, 2026.

The daughter of Robert E. and Nancy Swisher Werner, she was born in Pueblo, CO on March 2, 1970. Michelle attended Canon City schools and graduated from Canon City High School in 1988 and attended Mesa State University.

Michelle was a CNA and the caregiver for her son Jacob from his birth until his death in 2024. Jacob, with his special-needs care, was her joy. Her faith was very strong. She enjoyed going to the mountains, playing games with family and friends, traveling, camping, and reading.

Michelle is survived by her parents, Robert and Nancy Swisher Werner; brothers, Robert Ed, Ronald (Deana Jones); aunts, uncles, cousins; and special friends Sara McClure of Pueblo, Marty McMullen of Greeley; and many other friends.

She was preceded in death by her 25-year-old son, Jacob; and grandparents, Robert and Rena Mae Swisher, Edward B. Werner, JD McMullen, and Louise Werner.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the First Church of The Nazarene, 84 Stanford in Pueblo.
