Oca Leola Holt

Oca Leola Lingle’s journey in life began on March 30, 1932, in Missouri.  Her early years were spent with her family and siblings; three brothers and sisters.  She married Victor Osborn and had a son, Lewis (Marilyn) and a daughter Vicki.  Even as a young mother, she continued her education and eventually gained her master’s degree in library science.

As life changed, she married Marion Bush and had five stepchildren.

Along with family, Oca’s life was centered around church and her continued pursuit of God.

In later years, she was blessed with two granddaughters, Kristi and Leslie and a great grand daughter and great grand son from her son Lewis, as well as many more grand and great grandchildren.

Oca along with her third husband, Howard Holt, they helped establish the First Southern Baptist Church in Penrose, Colorado; where she served in many ways, including Church Secretary and pianist.

Her time on Earth ended and her time in heaven began on May 3, 2024, at her home in Canon City,

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 10th at 11:00am at the First Southern Baptist Church in Penrose.
